She has 10 years experience working in the capacity of life coach, including the mentoring of managers and care providers to vulnerable people such as those suffering from trauma and abuse. A sought after international speaker inspiring hope for transformation and fulfillment of life purpose.
Evelyn first travelled to the Netherlands in 2012 and became aware of the large number of Dominican nationals involved in prostitution. After hearing their stories she realized that contrary to popular opinion, these women wanted a way out but needed assistance to exit the cycle of debt, addictions, depression and constant thoughts of suicide as a result of daily sexual exploitation. She subsequently founded Hope Initiatives as an international organization headquartered in the Netherlands and Dominican Republic to assist individuals to transition from sexual exploitation to reintegration into society. Her vision is to see these individuals through this process with as much hope and joy as possible.
